The Amen Gorge is a landmark of the Alpes-Maritimes region, alongside its neighbor, the Raton Gorge. Completing the full route takes up to 6 hours of canyoning (plus a 2-hour hike!) through a wild, unique landscape featuring unusual colors and rock formations. The canyon is not overly technical for the first section, offering a mix of jumps, rappels, and stretches of walking. Then comes the final, narrow gorge section—featuring tight rappels and optional siphons—which leads to the famous 60-meter waterfall. Recommended for fit, active individuals.
Accessible to ages 14 and up, provided there is prior experience.
Option to do just the final section for a full-day rate of €80 per person.
